Tasker
This policy explains how Tasker (Pomodoro Timer: Tasker on the App Store) for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and this website, handle information about you.
Who is responsible. The controller of personal data for Tasker is Flexisoft, based in Gdynia, Poland, the developer listed as the seller of Tasker. Contact: info@flexisoft.pl.
In short. What you create in Tasker stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account. We never receive it. Tasker has no account, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics. Purchases are handled by Apple; we use RevenueCat only to confirm what you have bought. We do not sell your information or use it to track you.
What the app stores. Your tasks, focus sessions, timer settings, session history and statistics, and your choice of apps to block (kept by iOS as private tokens). If iCloud is turned on for Tasker, this data syncs through your private iCloud database, which is not accessible to us. Apple Watch, widgets and Live Activities show your current session using data from the app on your own devices.
Permissions. Notifications – to tell you when a focus session or a break ends. Screen Time – only if you turn on app blocking. Tasker works without the permissions you decline, and you can change them at any time in Settings.
App blocking and Screen Time. App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls). The apps you choose are passed to Tasker by iOS as private, opaque tokens: Tasker can ask iOS to block them during a session, but it cannot see which apps they are and never has access to your Screen Time reports, app usage or browsing activity.
Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple. To check which purchases are active and restore them, Tasker uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which receives a random app identifier, your purchase history for this app and basic technical information (app and OS version, device model, language, IP address). We use this only to provide your purchases (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The transfer to the USA is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
What we don't do. No advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting services, no tracking across other companies' apps or websites, no account, and we do not sell or share your information.
This website. It uses no cookies and no tracking. The online Pomodoro timer stores its settings and today's session count only in your browser (local storage). If visit statistics are enabled, we use a cookie-free tool that does not identify people.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. Email info@flexisoft.pl and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa) or the authority in your country.
Changes. If Tasker starts handling data differently, we will update this page before the change reaches the App Store.
